7) How do I take care of the mask?

LEATHER MASKS

The longevity of leather depends mainly on its daily care and cleaning.
If you neglect it, it can quickly fade and stain more easily.

A cloth moistened with water also works well. In fact, pollution, pollen and even external particles are sometimes deposited on leather.

Moisturizing wipes, cleansing milk or moisturizing cream are ideal. Using a soft cloth, apply the product to your mask, massaging gently until the product penetrates completely into the leather.

Some use a spray bottle or a small bottle filled with a white vinegar and linseed oil mixture (the amount of linseed oil should be 2 times the amount of vinegar) once a month.

VEGAN MASKS

Clean any stains as soon as possible with a dry cloth and rub with a damp cloth if it’s a stubborn stain.

Machine washable at 30°C.

8) What are the different tanning processes?

Vegetable tanning using plant extracts is hypo-allergenic and uses only natural products that are harmless healthwise. Quebracho is hypo-allergenic, free of chromium, heavy metals, pentachlorophenol, dimethyl fumarate and other azo dyes. Tanning is compliant with Reach regulations.

Mineral tanning which does not contain chromium and has no hazardous or prohibited components. It complies with the Reach standard and all applicable standards.

Stain tanning is a chemical process that must comply with human health safety standards in addition to being subject to the European Reach standard.
